I am an expat living in Tallinn and finding a place for hair removal was a struggle until I find this place. I could get a high quality laser hair removal service with affordable price. I just finished my second session and I've already started to see results even after my first session. The cleanliness of the place, the quality and the price of the service, coupled with Emilia's sincere care and positive attitude, I can safely recommend everyone to give it a chance. You won't regret it!

FAQ
NOTE! Hair growth never stops in the human body. However, laser hair removal is the longest-lasting hair removal method. The laser removes hair follicles in the growth phase, which are responsible for hair growth. This way, hair is removed quickly and efficiently, and hair does not grow back for a long time. For most clients, the procedure is comfortable or causes very little discomfort.
The laser only affects hair in the growth phase. At any given time, about 20% of hair in an area is in the growth phase. Therefore, to achieve good results, it is recommended to undergo 6-12 sessions, which should be repeated at 4-week intervals and at larger intervals at the end of the course. The laser beam removes 80% to 90% of hair follicles. The remaining hair becomes thinner, lighter, and depigmented after the procedure, so the laser can no longer affect them. Most hair removed by laser is permanently removed, and the laser hair removal course is considered complete when 80-90% of hair in the treated area has been removed. The remaining softer and pigmented hair may regain pigment after a couple of years. Over time, new follicles may develop, which is why maintenance procedures are performed. Maintenance procedures are carried out as needed. To maintain results, we recommend doing 1-2 maintenance procedures per year or every 6 months after completing the course. Even without maintenance procedures, hair growth will never be as extensive as it was before laser hair removal.
New hair that may appear is usually single, fine, and light. Hormonal balance in the body significantly affects hair growth, so new hair may appear after hormonal changes, such as pregnancy, breastfeeding, or menopause/andropause. Laser hair removal procedures are performed with the Biotech Italia Supreme One Diode Laser, which is EU-certified and meets Estonian Health Board requirements.
Laser hair removal is recommended 6-12 times. 6 times is the minimum because it is based on the hair growth cycle, as at any given time not all hair in one area is in the growth phase, and the laser, regardless of power, only removes hair that is currently in the growth phase. At any given time, ~20% of those hairs in one area are in the growth phase. Therefore, to catch all hair at least once in the growth phase, the recommended minimum is 6x. According to your skin tone and hair, we select the correct device operating parameters.
Each person is unique, so there is no single definitive answer. Usually, to achieve complete hair removal, it is necessary to complete a course consisting of 6-12 sessions, which are recommended to be done about once a month. The hair growth phase usually lasts 4-6 weeks, depending on the specific area. The laser beam affects hair that is in the active growth phase, and at any given time, about 20% of hair in the area is in this phase. In hormonal body areas such as the upper lip and pubic area, hair removal takes longer.
The effectiveness of laser hair removal depends on hair color and strength. The darker and stronger the hair and the lighter the skin, the better the results usually are. It is important to note that laser hair removal does not remove gray or lighter-than-skin hair.

Laser hair removal is a method of removing unwanted hair using laser pulses, leaving surrounding tissues undamaged. Thanks to the lens in the device, light rays converge into a light beam. When hair follicles absorb the light beam, they undergo a photothermolysis process. This process weakens the follicles, preventing them from producing new hair. Over several sessions, the hair in the treated area becomes finer and lighter, and in many cases stops complete renewal. The Diode laser we use, with a wavelength of 808 nm, is known as the "gold standard of hair removal" because it is suitable for almost all skin and hair types.
Laser radiation only affects hair that is in the active growth phase. After plucking, there is no longer melanin that the machine could use to remove hair, and additionally the procedure time is extended because the hair must grow back before it can be removed. The direction of hair growth may also change, which can in turn cause ingrown hairs and inflammatory processes on the skin. During the laser hair removal course, we ask you to remove hair only by shaving.
The exact course length and interval are determined during individual consultation with a specialist. The interval between procedures is 4-8 weeks, depending on the treated area and which procedure is currently being performed. At the end of the course, procedure intervals lengthen because there is little or no hair. Doing sessions more frequently will not allow the desired result to be achieved earlier, because laser radiation only affects hair that is in the active growth phase. With each procedure, the amount of unwanted hair should decrease. After achieving the desired result, it is recommended to repeat the procedure every six months or year to maintain the achieved result.
